hist\u00f3rico da AXA. Formado pela \u00c9cole Polytechnique, iniciou a carreira nos seguros em 1958 e tornou-se Diretor-Geral em 1975. Conduziu a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da empresa num grupo global, incluindo a ado\u00e7\u00e3o da marca AXA e uma forte expans\u00e3o internacional. Promoveu, igualmente, a responsabilidade social e iniciativas de filantropia corporativa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ap\u00f3s deixar a lideran\u00e7a em 2000, permaneceu como Presidente Honor\u00e1rio da AXA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>AXA Mill\u00e9simes e a liga\u00e7\u00e3o a Portugal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Em meados dos anos 80, Claude B\u00e9b\u00e9ar, um apaixonado por vinhos, cria uma divis\u00e3o daquele grupo segurador, a AXA Mill\u00e9simes, com o objetivo de adquirir e gerir quintas de vinho de qualidade superior em v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses, incluindo Fran\u00e7a (Bord\u00e9us, Borgonha), Hungria e EUA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A liga\u00e7\u00e3o a Portugal \u00e9 feita atrav\u00e9s da aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o da Quinta do Noval, no Douro, em 1993, sendo uma das propriedades mais emblem\u00e1ticas do portfolio da AXA Mill\u00e9simes.
