Esta data foi institu\u00edda, oficialmente, em 1948, durante a 2.\u00aa Confer\u00eancia Hemisf\u00e9rica de Seguros, realizada no M\u00e9xico, e marca tamb\u00e9m a funda\u00e7\u00e3o da Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Interamericana de Seguros (FIDES).<\/p>\n<p>A escolha do dia 14 de maio remete \u00e0 realiza\u00e7\u00e3o da 1.\u00aa Confer\u00eancia Hemisf\u00e9rica de Seguros, em 1946, em Nova Iorque, um evento marcante para o setor. Dois anos depois, na segunda edi\u00e7\u00e3o do encontro, ficou estabelecido que esta data seria celebrada como o Dia Continental do Seguro.<\/p>\n<p>O seguro \u00e9 uma ferramenta essencial para a prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra riscos e incertezas, proporcionando estabilidade financeira e seguran\u00e7a tanto para indiv\u00edduos quanto para empresas.
